Mantis and Moon Tours
Since the beginning of 2008 Mantis & Moon has its own tour and shuttle service.
We provide tours to the Oribi Gorge where you can jump the highest gorge swing in the world. Like to go down a bit slower? Try the abseil down Lehr's waterfall or explore the gorge on horseback. In season there's white water rafting down the mighty Umzimkulu river with grade 2 to 4 rapids.
We also book dives at, and provide shuttles to the various dive sites at Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks. These dive sites are some of the best in Africa.
Rather stay on the surface? We provide shuttles to the Umtavuna Wake Board Camp, here you might end up showing off your skills to professionals from all over the world.
For those who want to stay dry, book an ocean safari and join an experienced skipper in search of dolphins and whales or round up some mates and enjoy sunset on a river booze cruise
Game viewing can be done in the nearby Lake Eland Game Reserve and if it's the Big 5 you're after, we can take you on a multiple day trip to Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game Reserve, well known for its Black and White rhino populations.
Together with Mandla guests can explore the rural lands around Umzumbe on a Zulu Cultural Tour, no staged authenticity, experience everyday life, meet the locals and join them for a drink in the shebeen.
